Starting from 2013, the Russian Pension Fund recalls delivery of the so-called “good luck” letters. Such information was given by Head of the RT Department of the Russian Pension Fund Marsel Imamov at a briefing at the RT Government House.
The briefing was traditionally held in format of video conference with participation of all municipal regions. It was dedicated to changes in the pension system that came into force in 2013.
“To the point, a “good luck” letter is notification regarding personal pension accounts in the system of compulsory pension insurance for previous year. From now, information about pension accounts is available on the Portal of state and municipal services, and loan organisations that concluded agreements with the Russian Pension Fund. One can also receive a detailed statement in a division of the Pension Fund according to the place of residence.
Marsel Imamov noted that refusal from delivery of such letters would help saving 3 bln roubles that would be directed to increase of cumulative part of pension.
