Vladimir Putin congratulates Rustam Minnikhanov on the Russia Day

In his telegram, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on the 12th of June – the Russia Day.

“Dear Rustam Nurgalievich! I congratulate you on the Russia Day. This holiday symbolizes the inextricable, vital connection of times and generations, the traditions of patriotism and personal responsibility for the destiny of the Fatherland. We are sincerely proud of our homeland and honor the feats of arms and labor achievements of our ancestors. We cherish their wise, paternal legacy. I wish you success and all the best,” the telegram says.

The Russia Day (until 2002 - the day of the adoption of the Declaration on State Sovereignty of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic) – June, 12 is a state holiday of the Russian Federation, celebrated annually since 1992.
