Consul General of China to Kazan Wu Yingqin congratulates all Tatarstan residents on the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Tatar ASSR

On May 27, the Consul General of the People's Republic of China to Kazan Wu Yingqin congratulated Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and all residents of the republic on the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the TASSR and expressed confidence that Tatarstan is looking forward to the future from a new starting point and will certainly achieve brilliant success again.

In his congratulatory telegram the Consul General noted that "Tatarstan can be proud of its centuries-old history, natural beauties, rich resources, good traditions and a variety of cultural and historical sites".

“To date, Tatarstan is of increasing interest from China. The republic has a favorable investment climate, occupies a leading position in many areas and attracts many Chinese companies. In 2019 alone, three delegations at the level above the Deputy Prime Minister of the State Council of China and 10 delegations at the level above deputy heads of regions and deputy ministers paid official visits to Tatarstan. These visits show particularly close attention of China to strengthening cooperation with such regions of Russia. During the years of cooperation, there have never been so many visits by high-ranking officials of China to Tatarstan. The growth of trade between China and Tatarstan is also significant. We have great potential for increasing foreign trade,” the telegram says.

Wu Yingqin wished everyone good health, success in achieving the set goals, prosperity for Tatarstan and well-being for all residents.
