On May 26, during their online meeting, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of Wildberries Tatyana Bakalchuk discussed the implementation of joint projects.
In particular, the company plans to build a technology park for the self-employed and representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in Tatarstan.
Wildberries is ready to take on the solution of logistical problems and provide sales of products, including outside of Russia. There are also great opportunities for cooperation for residents of the technology park.
To implement the project, the company management asked for help in allocating an additional one hectare of land, as well as support in organizing the necessary infrastructure.
Minnikhanov assured that the republic will provide overall assistance in this regard. Such a full-cycle project is in high demand at the moment, Tatarstan President said.
“In current conditions, e-commerce is becoming a lifeline that allows us to support the economy and save jobs. Now when everything has stopped, the fact that you are taking the next step creating such platforms will be a revolutionary project for our country as a whole,” Minnikhanov said.
Bakalchuk thanked Minnikhanov for the support and said that the company joined the regional campaign “Help is nearby” and provides free delivery service to those in need as a partner.
Tatarstan President thanked Bakalchuk for personal involvement in the project and congratulated her on Entrepreneurship Day.
