Rustam Minnikhanov has a telephone conversation with King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa

On May 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a telephone conversation initiated by the Bahrain side with the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

King of Bahrain asked to convey words of greeting and best wishes to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Addressing Tatarstan President, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa said that he was paying special attention to the epidemiological situation in connection with a new coronavirus infection in Tatarstan. The king expressed his support to Minnikhanov and all residents of the republic during this difficult time and wished an early normalization of the situation.

Minnikhanov thanked the King of Bahrain for his care.

The parties expressed hope for further cooperation and mutual direct contacts, as soon as the global epidemiological situation permits.
