On April 29, during his working visit to Tukaevsky municipal region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Gigant livestock breeding complex with a capacity of 500 heads, inspected the progress in spring field works and talked to farmers.

The construction of the livestock breeding complex started in May 2019, and it was put into operation at the beginning of this year. The complex has an area of about 5,000 square meters and includes cattle houses and a dairy unit. It is equipped with milking equipment, milk pipelines and other modern systems for keeping cows in good sanitary condition.

In general, the complex is engaged in the production of crop and livestock products.

Minnikhanov was also informed about the progress in the construction of a new kindergarten in the village of Azmushkino, which  is scheduled to be open in July this year. It will accommodate 140 children, including 70 children aged from 18 months to 3 years old and 70 children aged from 3 to 7 years old.

During his working trip to the region, Minnikhanov also met volunteers who joined the Help is Near campaign. They demonstrated him food sets to be delivered to those in need.

“Your efforts are noble. In this difficult time, there are people who especially need help. And our task is to take care of them. We would not be able to do this without your support,” Minnikhanov addressed the volunteers.

Tatarstan President was told that as many as 627 people will receive food sets in the municipal region as part of the regional project.
