Tatarstan President holds online meeting with the winners of the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad

On April 28, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held an online meeting with students of Kazan lyceum № 131, who won prizes at the European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad.

Parents and teachers of these students also took part in the meeting.

Due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation this year, the Olympiad was held remotely. The four-member Russian team won three gold and one silver medal. Two awards went to students of lyceum №131 of Kazan. Rosalina Mirgalimova, student of the 10th grade won the gold medal and Ralina Yusupova student of the 8th grade won the silver medal.

Minnikhanov congratulated the students on such a high achievement. “This success should be consolidated. Your competencies allow you to be competitive globally. Today it is very important,” Tatarstan President emphasized.

He also thanked parents and teachers of the students who laid the foundation for the current victories.
