Tatarstan President holds the first meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone in 2020

On April 22, via videoconference, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held the first meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Innopolis Special Economic Zone in 2020.

Minnikhanov emphasized that, despite today's challenges, attracting investment and implementing new projects is one of the most important priorities. “It is important for us not only to maintain, but also to increase the pace of our development,” Tatarstan President noted.

Eight companies have applied for residency in the special zone. The Orgneftekhim IT project involves the development and support of software products that can be used to solve various problems in the design of industrial facilities and the implementation of complex projects in the field of construction. Potential clients include large enterprises in the field of oil and gas refining and petrochemicals, construction industry facilities and design institutes.

“A number of large petrochemical plants are operating in the republic at the moment. We have gained great experience while implementing  the Taneko project. Every year we launch 4-5 new installations. Much work is underway on delayed coking. I believe that for Innopolis this is a good competency. When there is a management company that can implement large-scale projects with the involvement of the best world and domestic specialists from scratch, then they need to be supported,” Minnikhanov said.

CEO of the Innostage Development Centre presented a project for creating an automated system for monitoring the physical security of facilities. The system provides the collection and analysis of security events from third-party access control and management systems, video surveillance systems, accounting systems and fire control automation; identifies incidents; notifies interested parties; generates recommendations for liquidation and reports on the work performed. The product can be used in both in administration and commercial segments.

Minnikhanov noted the great potential of this project, and also suggested making an expanded presentation at the next board meeting of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding.

The application of the Umnaya Korova (Smart Cow) Company  involves the development of the simplest tool for training and control of employees of dairy farms, which makes it possible to ensure 95 per cent of technology compliance on farms and eliminate losses due to technology violations.

Tatarstan President noted that timely and high-quality implementation of all technological processes is required in the field of agriculture. “The introduction of such smart systems in the agricultural sector is very useful. We will support you. I will give the relevant instruction to the Ministry of Agriculture of the republic,” he added.

Svezhie Resheniya (Fresh Solutions) plans to create an ecosystem of microservices for managing small and medium-sized businesses. The product is used for digital transformation of small and medium-sized companies, as well as for automation of processes in the corporate and public sector.

The Centre for Educational STI Competencies presented a project to establish scientific and educational complexes based on simulators of robotic systems for education and the real sector of the economy.

The project of the RuNedra Company aims at accelerating the development and approval of project documents for the establishment of landfills for injection of produced water and underground gas storages. It is planned to create a cloud-based tool for simulation and visualization of the distribution of formation water (and natural gas), taking into account the uncertainty of the initial geological data.

Digital Service Provider presented a project of innovative technology for the “intelligent” traffic distribution and analytics systems for the Russian market with the goal of converting traffic as profitably as possible and increasing the income of Internet entrepreneurs.

Tatarstan President invited the company's management to take part in online seminars for business organized in Tatarstan to present their decisions.

The Evotech-Mirai Genomiks project aims at developing and producing a test system for the diagnosis of COVID-19 coronavirus. The company plans to produce coronavirus RNA kits and a portable mini-laboratory for rapid diagnosis of COVID-19. The analysis speed is 4 times higher than analogues with an accuracy of more than 99 per cent.

Minnikhanov noted that this is a very important project for today.

The meeting also considered the issue of assigning four companies the partner status of the Innopolis SEZ. The project of the S7 TechLab Company involves the development of innovative blockchain solutions for the optimization and digital transformation of business processes of commercial organizations.

Alfa-Bank plans to develop software with the aim of developing a digital platform and eliminating paper workflow from the processes of interaction with bank customers.

The RSHB-Intech project is associated with the creation of a technological solution for automating the activities of Rosselkhozbank.

Acronis Infoprotect submitted a project to upgrade a data backup and protection solution “Acronics Data Protection”. The goal of the project is to upgrade a domestic solution for data backup and protection based on artificial intelligence technology and prepare it for subsequent commercialization.

Members of the Supervisory Board approved all the projects submitted.
