Rustam Minnikhanov holds an online meeting with President of Volga-Dnepr Group Aleksey Isaikin

On April 21, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had an online meeting with President of Volga-Dnepr group of companies Aleksey Isaikin.

The Volga-Dnepr has been representing Russian cargo civil aviation on the international market for about 30 years. The Group includes the leading Russian cargo airlines. The company also operates cargo charter flights.

Under the current conditions and in connection with the fight against a new coronavirus infection, Volga-Dnepr carries out freight operations in the healthcare sector, including the delivery of protective suits, individual medical masks, etc. First of all, these are essential goods and humanitarian supplies (masks, gels, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment).

Minnikhanov thanked the senior managers of the company for helping Tatarstan in the delivery of medical masks and equipment for their production.

According to Minnikhanov, the Volga-Dnepr and the republic can have long lasting relationship. We are ready to consider the possibility of deeper integration with you, Tatarstan President said addressing the representatives of the company.

During the online meeting, the participants discussed the prospects of cooperation on the establishment of warehouses focused on medical supplies in Tatarstan. Thus, Kazan Expo venues and logistics centres can be used for these purposes.
