Rustam Minnikhanov visits Buinsk municipal region

On April 19, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Buinsk region of the republic to meet the active core of the agricultural complex of the region and also looked around the exhibition of agricultural products produced by local farmers.

Tatarstan President also got acquainted with the structure of crop areas of the region this year.

Today, there are 16,600 hectares of winter crops, which have wintered well. Farmers have started to sow spring crops.

As many as 40 hectares of sugar beets have already been sown.

Minnikhanov was informed that farmers were also provided with high-quality seeds in the region.

All livestock in the area is fully provided with feed.

Speaking about milk production, Head of the Executive Committee of Buinsk region Ranis Kamartdinov said that all milk is taken over to Zelenodolsk Dairy Plant for processing.

Minnikhanov got acquainted with the maternity department of the livestock and dairy complex of Avangard Company (branch of Ak Bars Holding). The construction of the maternity ward increased milk production, the safety of breed and the production of beef for further processing.

He was also informed that the investor intends to build another dairy complex in the region.

Tatarstan President emphasized that agricultural production, including sowing and harvesting campaign and the livestock sector require continuous production. “This is continuous process. Agricultural producers cannot leave job and have to communicate with people and keep in touch. Therefore, all precautionary measures should be observed. Today, a sanitary-epidemiological situation in the village is not difficult yet. One case of disease with a new coronavirus infection was registered in Buinsk region. But over 160 cases were registered in the republic and the data will be updated today,” Tatarstan President said.

Minnikhanov said that today no one is safe from coronavirus infection. It is necessary to observe a distance between people, use personal protective equipment, wash hands and observe all safety precautions, he reminded.

Tatarstan President emphasized that today the entire municipal health care system should be ready to receive such patients with coronavirus infection. It is also important to isolate such patients to exclude the further spread of infection.
