Rustam Minnikhanov inspects how sanitary-epidemiological control measures are observed at Kazan enterprises

On April 7, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited a number of regional enterprises, the Kazan Helicopter Plant being the first one. The plant is on the list of backbone enterprises and it resumed its work on the 6th of April.

Minnikhanov inspected how sanitary and epidemiological control measures were organized for employees at the enterprise. “The safety of workers is one of the priorities in the organization of labor activity today,” he said.

Among other things, Minnikhanov inspected the assembly shop, where helicopter hulls are manufactured, helicopter blade assembly shops and other facilities.

Managing Director of the Kazan Helicopter Plant Yuri Pustovgarov said that specialists involved in the implementation of the state defense order started working at the enterprise, including the personnel responsible for the production and assembly work. Some of the personnel work from home, he added.

At the Tatkhimpharmpreparaty Petrochemical Company Minnikhanov got acquainted with the production of pharmaceutical products, which are in high demand in the current sanitary and epidemiological situation.

At his meeting with the enterprise management, Tatarstan President discussed priority areas in the production of medicines. In particular, Tatkhimpharmpreparaty produces drugs that are included on the list of vital medicines, including those in high demand during the period of coronavirus infection.

Minnikhanov got acquainted with the work of the packaging line, visited the workshop for the production of paracetamol. Moreover, he familiarized himself with the measures taken as part of strict observance of sanitary and epidemiological standards.

“Products of Tatkhimpharmpreparaty are in demand both in Russia and abroad,” Minnikhanov said, addressing representatives of the management. “However, in this situation, I ask you to respond to the demands of the domestic market as a matter of priority.”

Tatkhimpharmpreparaty is among the top 20 largest drug manufacturers in Russia and is one of the leaders in the production of tablet drugs.

Then, Minnikhanov visited the Bakery and Confectionery Complex. The plant is equipped with modern equipment- both domestic and imported- for the production of a wide range of bakery and confectionery products.

Director General of the complex Bulat Kutdusov, told Tatarstan President about measures taken at the enterprise to comply with all the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service for Supervision of Consumers Protection) in the current situation.

Minnikhanov visited the confectionery shop, as well as the shop where bread is produced.

Head of the Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan Marina Patyashina accompanied Tatarstan President.
