The 36th session of the RT State Council of the fourth convocation will be held on December, 24. Such a decision has been made at a presidium session of the republican parliament.

Chairman of the RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin mentioned main public and political events that had happened in the country and republic. The most important was the Address of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly. Heads of higher legislative (representative) authorities of the RF entities were invited to official announcement of the address for the first time. Head of the Tatarstan Parliament also mentioned the meeting of Vladimir Putin with activists and members of the Board of legislators under the Federal Assembly.

Farid Mukhametshin also told about his participation in a meeting of the bureau of the Congress of local and regional authorities as Chairman of the Committee for urgent issues of the Congress. One of the most important results of that event was the decision to hold the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Palace of Europe in Strasbourg in March 2013.

Speaking about the World congress of Tatars that had been held before, Farid Mukhametshin said that the World congress of Tatars had to search for new approaches in realization of the tasks they faced and think seriously about closer interaction with the Federal national and cultural autonomy of Tatars.

Among public and political events Chairman of the RT State Council mentioned the report-and-election conference of regional divisions of the parties “United Russia” and Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
