Viktor Demidov appointed Chief Federal Inspector in the Republic of Tatarstan

On March 23, at the Government House of the republic, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov introduced a newly appointed Chief Federal Inspector for the Republic of Tatarstan Viktor Demidov to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials.

“By my order, Viktor Demidov was appointed the Chief Federal Inspector in Tatarstan. I also want to thank Renat Timerzyanov, the former Inspector, for his many years of dedicated work at this post. In January this year, Timerzyanov moved to another job due to reaching the age limit at the civil service,” Komarov said.

Komarov emphasized that Demidov is well known in the republic, for a long time he worked in higher educational institutions, in government authorities and proved to be a highly qualified lawyer and a leader.

He said that Demidov’s merits have been repeatedly recognized by high state awards and medals.

According to Komarov, today Tatarstan is one of the regions of Russia that sets ambitious targets and also participates in all strategic projects for the development of our country as a whole.

Tatarstan President assured that the leadership of the region will provide all necessary support to the chief federal inspector.

Demidov said that he will make all his knowledge and efforts to qualitatively fulfill the functions of the Inspector.
