Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a ceremony of honoring Tatarstan sport team for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters

On March 19, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of honoring Tatarstan sport team for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters that successfully performed at the Russian Winter Championship 2020.

“I would like to congratulate you on your great victories! Along with our honored masters, there is already a young, growing generation with good prospects,” Minnikhanov said.

Tatarstan President emphasized that the victory is the result of a systematic, purposeful work of the whole team and coaches.

Minnikhanov wished everyone good luck, good health and new victories.

Then, the state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan were handed in.

By the decree of Tatarstan President, Master of Sports of Russia, senior coach of Tatarstan team Nikolay Gorbunov was awarded the Medal of the Republic of Tatarstan  “For valorous labour” for the long-term excellent service and contribution to the development of sports in the republic and Executive Secretary of the Federation of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of Tatarstan Valery Grishenkov was awarded the title “Honored Rescuer of the Republic of Tatarstan”.
