Rustam Minnikhanov expresses his condolences over the death of Irek Minnakhmetov

On March 14, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his condolences over the death of the well-known Tatarstan businessman, former Director General Tatspirtprom Distillery Irek Minnakhmetov by corresponding a telegram to his father Zaudat Minnakhmetov.

“Dear Zaudat Midekhatovich! I was shocked when I heard the news about the death of your son Irek. It is hard to realize that a young, energetic person, a skilled leader, a talented businessman and a sportsman passed away.

This is a huge loss both for you and your entire large family, and for our republic. Irek Minnakhmetov was known for his high business activity, creative thinking, the ability to achieve his goal and managed to do a lot for his native Tatarstan in the economic sector, in sports, and in the field of charity.

I am deeply grieving with you. I understand and share the pain of this untimely, irreparable loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. I wish you, Farida Faritovna, Lily, Radik and all Irek’s relatives and friends strength and mutual support in these difficult days.
