On March 4, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yury Borisov arrived on a working visit in Tatarstan. Upon his arrival, Borisov together with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Gorbunov Kazan Aviation Plant, Branch of Tupolev Public Joint-Stock Company.
Borisov was shown the production workshops of the enterprise and got acquainted with product samples at a specially prepared exhibition.
Then, the Deputy Prime Minister headed for the Kazan Thermal Power Station-2, where he was informed about the current state of affairs and about the modernization of the station. Moreover, they discussed the modernization of the Zainskaya State District Power Station, the largest one in Russia and the region.
It is expected that tomorrow, on the 5th of March, Borisov will take part in a meeting of the Russian-Serbian intergovernmental commission to be held in Kazan.
