Rustam Minnikhanov at a ceremony of handing over the first serial Mi-38 helicopter: A landmark event has taken place today

On February 26, Director General of the Russian Helicopters Holding Andrey Boginsky, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Managing Director of the Kazan Helicopter Plant Yury Pustovgarov, representatives of the customer - Gazprombank Leasing, as well as employees of the Kazan Helicopter plant took part in a ceremony to hand over the first serial Mi-38 helicopter to the customer.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minnikhanov said that a landmark event has taken place today. According to him, the Mi-38 helicopter is a new achievement of the Kazan Helicopter Plant.

“A landmark event has taken place today,” Minnikhanov said in particular. “We have already presented this type of helicopter to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. However, we had a huge dream to make it in the design in which we see it today. This is a modern aircraft, a new achievement of our helicopter plant. The modernization, which is underway at the plant, makes it possible to produce the most modern aircrafts. Today we have been also demonstrated the Ansat. Both Mi-38 and Ansat are the helicopters that are in demand for the country's Ministry of Defense. ”

Minnikhanov also expressed his wish that today's event would give an impetus to the promotion of Mi-38 helicopters. "Good luck!" Tatarstan President concluded his speech.

Tatarstan President handed in state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan to the plant’s employees for their contribution to the development of domestic helicopter engineering.
