Rustam Minnikhanov meets senior executives of the Kazan State-Owned Gunpowder Plant

On February 14, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with senior executives of the Kazan State-Owned Gunpowder Plant (Kazan Gunpowder Plant).

Director General of the enterprise Aleksandr Livshits presented the main economic indicators of the Kazan Gunpowder Plant at the end of 2019 and informed about the tasks set for 2020.

The Plant is a diversified enterprise producing a variety of pyroxylin gunpowder and charges for almost all types of weapons, hunting and sporting gunpowder, nitrocellulose, varnish colloxylins, adhesives, paints and varnishes. The plant has one of the oldest chemical laboratories in the industry, with the history of 150 years and is constantly monitoring the quality of each batch of products.

The plant participates in international exhibitions, developing trade relations with foreign organizations, selling sports powder and nitrocellulose abroad.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and Aide to Tatarstan President Rinat Sabirov took part in the meeting.
