Rustam Minnikhanov meets composer Igor Krutoy

On February 5, during his working visit to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with composer Igor Krutoy to discuss the up-coming New Wave Festival to be held in 2020 in Kazan.

The annual international contest for young performers of popular music chaired and produced by Krutoy will coincide with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Tatar ASSR.

Minnikhanov and Krutoy discussed a number of issues on the preparation and holding of the event. Krutoy expressed his confidence that the experience of Tatarstan in hosting major international events will contribute to the high level of organization of the festival.
