Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of the Russian Football Union Aleksandr Dyukov discuss the development of football in the region

On February 5, at their working meeting in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of the Russian Football Union Alexander Dyukov discussed the prospects for the development of football in the region, measures to support and promote a healthy lifestyle.

The meeting also paid special attention to preparation for the signing of a four-way agreement between the ministries of sports of the Russian Federation and Tatarstan, the Russian Football Union and the local football federation. Such interaction will improve the system of athletes development from youth sports schools to professional clubs. The agreement also envisages the establishment of regional training centres for football players and children's football centres.
