Rustam Minnikhanov meets representatives of the sports community

On December 18, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and representatives of the sports community discussed the development of professional and mass sports in the region and the achievements of Tatarstan athletes and teams in the international arena and their participation in the main and reserve teams of Russian teams.

Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leila Fazleeva, Tatarstan Minister of Sports Vladimir Leonov, President of Cross-country ski federation of Russia Elena Vyalbe, President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpischev, President of Russian Taekwondo Union Anatoly Terekhov and winners and prize winners of the Olympic Games Svetlana Romashina and Alexey Nemov took part in the meeting.

After the meeting, the athletes went to the solemn event “Athlete of the Year - 2019” held at the Volga State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.
