On December 16, in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular meeting of the working group of the State Council of Russian on the development of the housing market and the creation of a comfortable urban environment.
Opening the meeting, Minnikhanov reminded that at an expanded meeting of the Presidium of the State Council of the Russia in Innopolis on February 12 this year, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin gave a number of errands. The meeting was devoted to the work of executive authorities of the Russian constituent entities to improve the housing conditions of the population and to create favorable urban environment.
Certain issues as part of these errands, including pricing in the construction industry, participation of citizens in urban development, content of standard contracts for construction, installation and design and survey works, were considered at the last two meetings held on April 22 and May 30 this year. Moreover, special attention was paid to project financing of equity housing construction with the use of escrow accounts starting from July 1, 2019.
Today’s meeting considered the execution of all the instructions given by Putin in February in general.
The main goal is to improve the housing conditions of at least 5 million families annually and increase the volume of housing up to 120 million square metre by 2024.
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Vitaly Mutko, Secretary of the State Council of Russia, Aide to Russian President Igor Levitin, leaders of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation took part in the meeting.
