Tatarstan President to get acquainted with the activities of the Great Stone Industrial Park

On December 12, during his working visit to the capital of Belarus, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Great Stone Industrial Park, which is 25 kilometers away from Minsk and close to the international airport, railway lines and the Berlin-Moscow transnational highway. The project is developing under the inter-state Sino-Belarusian cooperation.

Priority areas are engineering, electronics and telecommunications, fine chemistry, biotechnology, new materials, logistics, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, storage and processing of large amounts of data, research, development and experimental work. Such social projects as the construction of residential buildings, medical and educational institutions are developing in the park.

The total investment in the project exceeds 1 billion US dollars. Currently, 60 residents have registered in the park. Favorable working conditions have been established for them and various benefits and preferences have been provided. There are over 20 enterprises in the park, including the largest projects such as MAZ-Weichai, Chengdu Xinju Silk Road Development, IPG Photonics and others.

Tatarstan President also visited the One Station Centre for Integrated Services for Investors and Residents. This project helps potential residents of the park to receive the necessary services from Belarus state authorities and to solve various procedural issues. Minnikhanov praised the work of the centre and asked to the representatives of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization, Tatarstan Multifunctional centres and the leadership of special economic zones of the republic to exchange experiences.
