Rustam Minnikhanov meets members of KAMAZ-Master team before their start to Dakar-2020 rally

On November 24, at “Tarlovka” testing ground in Yelabuga region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov together with Director General of KAMAZ Automaker and Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev had a meeting with members of KAMAZ-Master team before their start to Dakar-2020 rally.

Upon his arrival at the testing ground, Minnikhanov changed into a sports uniform and drove one of the cars prepared for the upcoming competitions.

Tatarstan President made two high-speed races, which included overcoming artificial road barriers.

He also answered questions from journalists and evaluated the activities of KAMAZ Automaker in general.

According to Minnikhanov, today no one doubts that the KAMAZ is a world-class company. The sports victories of the KAMAZ-master team, which annually rises to the highest step of the pedestal, emphasize the steady competitiveness of the Tatarstan company.
