Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a plenary meeting “Resource development of consumer cooperation” at the Kazan Cooperative Institute

On November 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Kazan Cooperative Institute (Branch of the Russian University of Cooperation), where a resource centre for the development of cooperation opened.

The guests were shown an interactive presentation of the resource centre and were demonstrated a number of student projects in a new academic building.

Moreover, the Cooperation - Standards of Professionalism (WorldSkills) and International Cooperation expositions were showcased there.

Tatarstan President also took part a plenary session of the Resource Centre for the Development of Cooperation as a Factor in Preserving the Rural Way of Life forum at the Kazan Cooperative Institute,  with the Resource Development of Consumer Cooperation being the main topic of the meeting.

Tatarstan President, Chairman of the Council of the Central Union of the Russian Federation Dmitry Zubov, Board Chairman Tatpotrebsoyuz (consumer’s association of the republic) Rashat Shaimardanov and other officials spoke at the meeting.

The Resource Centre for the Development of Cooperation as a Factor in Preserving the Rural Way of Life forum opened yesterday, on the 14th of November. The forum discusses such issues as the formation of a model of a resource centre for the development of cooperation, the possibility of providing various resources to youth cooperatives, the opening of specialized cooperative classes at schools and training personnel in general.

Today, as part of the forum, Zubov handed in the first class departmental award of the Central Union of the Russian Federation - the Order for contribution to the development of consumer cooperation in Russia
