Farid Mukhametshin opens new village club in Sarmanovo region

Realisation of the republican program aimed at construction of village clubs continues. Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin took part in a solemn opening of new House of culture in a village Katash-Karan (Sarmanovo region, the Republic of Tatarstan).
The idea to build culture institutions in rural areas belongs to the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. Funding was especially provided for realisation of the republican program of capital investments.
Total amount of funds made 500 mln roubles. This year it is planned to build 46 village clubs.
Speaking on the opening ceremony, Farid Mukhametshin reminded that today’s event was possible due to decision of the Tatarstan President about preservation of a cultural oasis in remote rural areas.
Chairman of the State Council believes that peoples’ culture, traditions, customs and languages can be preserved due to support of culture in rural areas. The program being implemented in republic focuses on this very mission.
Head of the parliament thanked builders for excellent work and handed certificate for 100 thousand roubles for upgrading facilities to the Director of new house of culture.
