Rustam Minnikhanov meets representatives of the management of Siemens and ENKA

On October 25, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and representatives of the management of Siemens and İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. discussed issues related to the implementation of new joint projects.

Welcoming the guests, Minnikhanov noted that Germany and Turkey have traditionally been leading foreign economic partners of the republic. He also said that about 60 per cent increase in the trade turnover with these countries has been achieved in the first half of this year.

In particular, Minnikhanov emphasized that Tatarstan has close ties with Siemens, Linde, Kastamonu, Hayat Kimya, and Sisecam companies. According to him, such cooperation is a good example of relations effectively established on a long-term basis.

Products of Siemens are represented in almost all sectors of the regional economy, as well as in such sectors as healthcare and transport, Minnikhanov also reminded.

Speaking at the meeting, representatives of Siemens thanked Tatarstan President for creating comfortable conditions for foreign investors in the region.
