Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan small oil companies have produced 5.3 million tonnes of oil for nine months of the current year

On October 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikanov had a meeting of the results of the activities of small oil companies of the republic for nine months of 2019 and tasks until the end of the year.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov noted that according to the results of the third quarter of the current year, the republic maintained positive oil production dynamics with the growth of 2.2 per cent as compared to the same period last year (the average growth made 1.9 per cent in Russia). For nine months, Tatarstan has produced 27 million 461 thousand tonnes of oil, which is 580 thousand tonnes more than a year earlier. He continued that 22 million 107 thousand tonnes were produced by Tatneft Company and 5 million 353 thousand tonnes were extracted by small oil companies.

“Small oil companies shipped products worth 122 billion roubles. Tax revenues from their activities at all budget levels amounted to 88 billion roubles, which makes 11 per cent of the total amount of tax and non-tax revenues collected in the republic,” Tatarstan President said.

He emphasized that due to the stable operation of the oil industry, the industrial production index in Tatarstan is 101.3 per cent.

“The republic is successfully implementing more than 40 projects. Next year we plan to launch a number of new projects. In particular, more than 6 thousand yards will be put in order under the Our Yard programme in three years. Programmes to overhaul hospitals, cultural, educational and sports facilities are also planned,”  Minnikhanov added.

Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov, Aide to Tatarstan President Shafagat Takhautdinov, heads of small oil companies, representatives of regional ministries and agencies, federal agencies took part in the meeting.
