Rustam Minnikhanov meets Head of Russian Federal Agency for Tourism Zarina Doguzova

On October 4, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of Russian Federal Agency for Tourism (Rostourism) Zarina Doguzova discussed the development of tourism industry in the republic, the improvement of infrastructure and the measures to attract tourists to the region.

About 3.4 million tourists visited Tatarstan last year. On average, this indicator is increasing by 8 per cent annually.

A meeting of the Council under Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District on the development of internal and incoming tourism is expected to be held this day in Kazan.
