Rustam Minnikhanov: We highly appreciate the achievements of our teachers in providing the high quality of education in Tatarstan

On October 3, at Lenin cultural and recreational complex in Kazan, speaking at a solemn ceremony dedicated to the World Teachers’ Day, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that new areas of education are being explored in the republic, in particular, a digital school, multilingual education and other areas and undoubtedly, Tatarstan teachers will achieve significant results in this work.

From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you on your professional holiday - Teacher's Day! Today, worthy representatives of their profession gathered in this hall. Your selfless work and personal example lay the foundation of our future in your students. The future of the younger generation, which will take responsibility for our republic and country in the near future, largely depends on the teacher,” Minnikhanov emphasized in his welcoming speech.

He also said that Tatarstan has been in the top three in Russia in various indicators in education for several years.

“We highly appreciate your achievements in providing the high quality of education in Tatarstan, your invaluable contribution to the education of worthy citizens of the society and a significant role in the socio-economic development of the republic. I am sure that you will protect the glorious traditions of your profession,” Tatarstan President said.

At the end of the ceremony, Minnikhanov handed over state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan to the most distinguished teachers.

A number of teachers were awarded the honorary titles of "People's Teacher of the Republic of Tatarstan" and "Honored Teacher of the Republic of Tatarstan."
