Chairman of the Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin has met with Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko and Chairman of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin during his working trip to Moscow.

Issues of interaction between the upper chamber of the Russian parliament and legislative bodies of the RF subjects were discussed at a meeting with Valentina Matvienko. Participants of the meeting noted that joint efforts of federal and regional legislative bodies in solving urgent problems are important.

Speaker of the Federation Council asked about priority lines of republic’s development. Farid Mukhametshin told about perspective plans of development and presented to Valentina Matvienko an invitation for the International research and practice conference “Formation of new federative Russia: experience of constitutional law-making of the Republic of Tatarstan” dedicated to 20th anniversary of the Tatarstan Constitution.

To the point, Valentina Matvienko has not visited our republic as Chairman of the Federation Council.

A meeting between Farid Mukhametshin and head of the lower chamber of the Russian parliament Sergei Naryshkin was held later on.
