Aleksey Pesoshin and Sergey Naryshkin lay flowers at the Eternal Flame in Kazan Victory Park

On September 23, Kazan hosted the 16th Annual Meeting of the heads of security agencies and intelligence services of the CIS countries on intelligence activities.

Before the opening of the meeting, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Head of the Russian foreign intelligence service Sergey Naryshkin and the intelligence leadership of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan visited Kazan Victory Park, where they laid wreaths and flowers at the Eternal Flame of the Colonnade of the Memorial of Glory. After the ceremony, the meeting participants went to the Kazan City Hall to take part in the meeting, where they discussed information exchange mechanism to prevent internal and external threats and further steps to counter terrorism and extremism.
