Rustam Minnikhanov meets Minister for Education of Singapore Ong Ye Kung

On August 27, in the Kazan Kremlin, at his meeting with Minister for Education of Singapore Ong Ye Kung, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan has a rich history of relations with the Republic of Singapore.

Innovation, information and communication technology, urban planning, and the development of special economic zones are important areas of cooperation.

Tatarstan President emphasized that education is one of the main areas of cooperation. For example, Singapore offers special education programmes for government officials of the republic.

As part of their visit to Kazan, the Singapore delegation visited the competition venues of the WorldSkills Competition. As many as 32 contestants and 29 experts from Singapore are taking part in the competition.
