Rustam Minnikhanov meets Minister of Education of the United Arab Emirates Hussain Ibrahim Al-Hammadi

On August 26, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Minister of Education of the United Arab Emirates Hussain Ibrahim Al-Hammadi discussed issues of cooperation and strengthening business contacts in the field of education, development and promotion of blue-collar jobs.

Minnikhanov reminded that the 45th WorldSkills Competition is being held in Kazan these days.

“We picked up the baton of holding the WorldSkills Competition in Abu Dhabi and learned a lot from you,” Minnikhanov said, addressing Hussain Ibrahim Al-Hammadi. “On my own behalf and on behalf of my colleagues, I thank you for the support that Tatarstan received in Abu Dhabi during the WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017.”

Minnikhanov wished the UAE team good performances at the championship in Kazan.

He also emphasized that the current competition is of great interest. In particular, Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev attended the opening ceremony of the 45th WorldSkills Competition. Every day, thousands of teenagers and young people attend competitions, he added.
