A reception on behalf of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and his wife dedicated to the best families of the republic held in the Kazan Kremlin

On August 24, in the Kazan Kremlin, speaking at a solemn reception on behalf of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and his wife Gulsina Minnikhanova dedicated to honouring the best families of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said: “We have a good and kind tradition to invite the best, exemplary families to the Kazan Kremlin on the eve of Republic Day. A family is the foundation of the state, and we must carefully respect all family values that exist historically.”

As many as 51 families from municipal regions of the republic, large cities of the region, as well as from Kazan were invited to the reception.

The participants of the event were shown a film dedicated to families with five or more children, families where spouses have been married for many years – the families modern youth can take an example with.

Minnikhanov reminded that the reception was organized during the 45th WorldSkills Competition held in Kazan. “Each of you is a master of his craft,” Tatarstan President addressed the participants of the event. “You are professionals in various spheres, you are a role model. And, of course, we bring up younger generation using such families as an example. I want to thank you for your active life position. Children are our future, and the way we raise them and lay family values will be for centuries. I congratulate you all on the upcoming Day of Republic. It is good that we have such an opportunity to meet. Let such meetings take place as often as possible!” he continued.

Minnikhanov also handed in state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan - medals "Ana Dana - Maternal Glory" to mothers of many children for merits in raising children and strengthening family values.
