Rustam Minnikhanov meets Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev

On August 23, at their meeting at the Governor’s Palace of the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Rostov region and Tatarstan, outlined steps to further intensification of business contacts and implementation of a number of projects.

The delegation of the Rostov region led by Golubev arrived in Kazan to take part in the events as part of the 45th WorldSkills Competition.

Yesterday, on the 22nd of August,  the delegation of the Rostov region attended the opening ceremony of the competition.

The programme of stay includes participation in the WorldSkills plenary meeting, a visit to the competition venues, informal communication with the competition participants - members of the Russian team.

Moreover, Governor of the Rostov Region will have meetings with senior officials of the regional ministries and agencies.  It is planned that Golubev will visit the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency to look into the economic and investment potential of the region.

He will also visit several industrial enterprises of the republic, including the production facilities of the I-Plast Company Nizhnekamskneftekhim Petrochemical Company. The Governor of the Rostov Region will also get acquainted with the activities and economic indicators of the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.
