Tatarstan President visits Kausar Meat Processing Complex in Laishevo region of the republic

On August 15, during his working visit to the village of Nikolskoye in Laishevo region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the activities of the Kausar meat processing complex.

The meat processing site was opened as part of the investment project of the agro-logistic complex of the Kausar agricultural consumer cooperative. The range of products includes sausages, pastes, smoked and dried products from duck and other meat according to Halal standards. More than 40 jobs were created at the site.

While looking around production lines,  Minnikhanov was informed that the project envisages the creation of a meat processing site, a slaughterhouse, a logistics centre, and warehouses for storing products. It is planned to produce 300 tonnes of sausages per month, to slaughter 6,000 heads of birds per day, as well as to store 1000 tonnes of frozen and chilled products. It is planned to invest more than 300 million roubles in the project.

At the end of his visit, Minnikhanov visited the exhibition of local agricultural products organized at the complex.
