Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the the opening of the repaired building of the Stolbishche police department in Laishevo region of the republic

On August 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Laishevo region of the republic to take part in the opening of the repaired building of the Stolbishsche police department.

“We understand how this facility ensuring security in the suburbs of Kazan is important and required. The real population exceeds official figures by 4-5 times here. Moreover, the Kazan-Expo Exhibition Centre is controlled by the Stolbishche police department. WorldSkills Competition starts there in a week. Besides, regional, all-Russia and international events will be held at this venue. It is actually appropriate that  this police department was repaired. Good working conditions for personnel are the key to reliability, safety and efficiency,” Minnikhanov emphasized speaking at the ceremony.

Minister of Internal Affairs of the republic Artem Khokhorin, who also took part in the event, said that systematic work is underway in the region to improve the facilities of the local police. For example, the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Laishevo region of the republic was repaired, and six administrative and residential complexes for district police officers were built. Moreover, a new official vehicle was handed over to the Stolbishche police department.

Then, Minnikhanov looked around the renovated building, where comfortable conditions were created for police officers to perform their duties.
