President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has arrived in the Yamal-Nenets autonomous district with a working visit.

Governor of the Yamal-Nenets autonomous district Dmitry Kobylkin arrived to Salekhard from Khanty-Mansiysk.

Upon arrival, Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a traditional ceremony of crossing the Polar circle. A symbolic stele where guests were met by a theatrical performance is located at the entrance to the city.

Itinerary of the working trip includes the meeting with Governor of the Yamal-Nenets autonomous district and the district leadership to discuss cooperation between the two regions. Rustam Minnikhanov will also meet with members of the Yamal Tatar diaspora.
