Rustam Minnikhanov congratulates builders on their professional holiday - Builder's Day

On August 9, at the Korston Entertainment Complex, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated all the builders of the republic on their professional holiday - Builder's Day.

Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Acting Prime Minister of the republic Rustam Nigmatullin, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and other officials took part in the event.

Welcoming the participants of the event - representatives of the construction organizations of Tatarstan, Minnikhanov emphasized that the construction sphere of the republic involves about 80,000 – 90,000 people, depending on the tasks and projects being implemented in the region.

Last year, the volume of construction and engineering work amounted to about 350 billion roubles. I want to thank you for the significant contribution to the development of the economy of the republic. This is the industrial construction and the construction of socio-cultural facilities. Today, about 40 programmes are being implemented in the construction of social and cultural facilities in Tatarstan, Minnikhanov emphasized.

Tatarstan President expressed sincere gratitude to the heads of construction organizations, representatives of all construction teams. He wished all representatives of the construction industry health and well-being, new bright achievements for the benefit of the republic.
