Rustam Minnikhanov: The growth potential of regions is in the exchange of best practices

On August 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov opened the first strategic session of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects in Russian regions, which will be held at the Tochka Kipeniya – Kazan site in the IT park.

“We see the growth potential of every region in the exchange of best practices. We have been actively involved in the implementation of the Smarteka Library of Smart Solutions initiative. Other regions also make use of our solutions,” Minnikhanov noted in his speech.

Tatarstan President shared the regional experience, which was spread outside the republic. In particular, he mentioned the creation of a single information space in the field of social protection of the population under the Demography National Project and the improvement of public spaces as part of the Housing National Project among the best practices of the region.

Moreover, Minnikhanov said that the region supports small and medium-sized businesses, mentioning the Agency for State Procurement in Tatarstan, the Unified Lending Centre, the Factory of Entrepreneurship and the Council on Entrepreneurship as the best practices.

“The Agency of Strategic Initiatives provides tremendous support to all regions in improving the business climate and increasing investment potential. Of course, the results of the national rating are the focus for all regions. Due to it, the regions see their strengths and weaknesses, and introduce best practices. This work is important and very useful in general,” Tatarstan President emphasized.
