Rustam Minnikhanov discusses further development of cooperation with senior managers of Coşkunöz Holding

On July 8, at their meeting on the sidelines of the Innoprom-2019 International Industrial Trade Fair in Yekaterinburg, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and  Director General of Coşkunöz Holding Erdem Acay discussed prospects for further cooperation between Tatarstan and Coşkunöz Holding and boosting production in the Alabuga SEZ.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov emphasized that Coşkunöz develops its production facilities in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone on a regular basis. Thus, Coskunoz together with the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works launched a new line to produce steel work pieces for automotive components in 2018. 

Tatarstan President noted that Coşkunöz’s products are in great demand and that KAMAZ Automaker is one of the clients of the Turkish company.  He added that the plant uses its components in the production of new cab frames.

In his turn, Erdem Acay said that Coşkunöz will become one of the suppliers of components for the production of Aurus cars to be organized in the Alabuga SEZ and that the company is negotiating with AvtoVAZ later today.
