Rustam Minnikhanov instructs to approach inspections of catering organization in summer recreation camps fundamentally

On July 6, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of all regions of the republic, Head of the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of the Protection of Consumer Rights and Human Welfare in Tatarstan Marina Patyashina reported on the results of inspections in children's recreation camps.

Patyashina reported that 1,158 camps (1024 day time camps (school camps), 109 country camps and 25 tent camps) operated in the republic in the first shift. As many as 445 camp inspections have been carried out and 2018 violations were revealed. A total of 78,362 children rested in the first shift in the camps.

Speaking about the nature of the violations, Patyashina reported that about 36 per cent of the violations were in the organization of catering. The violations in the maintenance of territories and common areas, water schedule, accommodation conditions were also revealed.

During the meeting, Minnikhanov instructed to approach inspections of catering organization, implementation of the rules and regulations in the maintenance of summer recreation camps fundamentally.

According to Tatarstan President, safety measures, issues of providing children's camps with high-quality food must be fulfilled at all facilities where children are accommodated.
