Rustam Minnikhanov introduces a new head to the staff of Gazprom Transgas Kazan

On July 1, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov introduced a new head, former Chief Engineer - Deputy Director General of Gazprom Transgaz Ufa, Rustem Usmanov to the staff of Gazprom Transgas Kazan. Rafkat Kantyukov, who has headed the company since 1998, will hold the post of Advisor to the new Director General.

Deputy Chairman of the Board, Director General of the Gazprom Corporate Defense Service Sergey Khomyakov noted that Gazprom Transgaz Kazan is the best company in the industry. “This is a complex enterprise with 10,500 employees. Kantyukov  was Director General of the company for more than 21 years. He put his heart, health, knowledge and skills into it. Gazprom transgaz Kazan is Rafkat Abdulkhaevich himself,” Khomyakov emphasized.

Then he handed over a Letter of Gratitude of the Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Company to Kantyukov.

Khomyakov also urged the enterprise staff to support the new head.

In his welcoming speech, Minnikhanov noted the significant contribution of Kantyukov to the development of the gas industry and thanked for the system solutions in gas supply of large investment projects implemented in Tatarstan.

Minnikhanov handed in the Duslyk Order to Kantyukov for significant contribution to the development of the economic and industrial potential of the republic, active social and charitable activities.
