Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in the opening of a new electrical substation in Kazan

On June 26, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the opening ceremony of a new electrical substation in Kazan.

The new power facility with elements of a digital substation was erected to replace the substation commissioned in 1957 and located next to it. The construction of the new facility was carried in parallel with its operation without limiting the power supply to consumers in the Vakhitovsky district of Kazan.

New requirements made by the city administration to the formation of the architectural space in the urban environment was taken into account when designing the substation. All transformers have reliable noise protection and do not cause any trouble to the population. Moreover, they are fully protected from environmental influences, environmentally friendly and ensure the safety of equipment operation.

During the opening ceremony Pesoshin congratulated everyone on this significant event and handed in state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan to the most distinguished employees of the substation.
