Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit in Tyumen

On June 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in Tyumen, was met by Governor of the Tyumen region Aleksandr Moor at the Roshchino International Airport.

Later on today, Minnikhanov and Moor will sign an agreement between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Tyumen region on trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural cooperation. The document envisages further development of stable and long-term bilateral relations.

Tomorrow, on the 18th of June,  Minnikhanov plans to visit a number of regional enterprises, including the Baker Hughes’ Tyumen Plant of Oilfield Equipment and the Tyumen Schlumberger Pumps Plant. Also, Tatarstan President will get acquainted with advanced medical technologies at the Federal Centre for Neurosurgery.

At the end of his visit Minnikhanov will meet activists of the Tatar community, living in the Tyumen region.
