Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrives in Novosibirsk

On June 9, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikanov arrived on a working visit in Novosibirsk, where he plans to hold a meeting with Governor of Novosibirsk region Andrey Travnikov and take part in the Tatar national holiday “Federal Sabantui – 2019”.

Tatarstan delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Chairman of Milli Shura national council Vasil Shaikhraziev, Tatarstan Minister of Culture Irada Ayupova, Head of Nizhnekamsk region Aidar Metshin and Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov. Nizhnekamsk region is co-organizer of the Federal Sabantui – 2019 from Tatarstan in Novosibirsk.

The discussion of the issues of relations development between the regions and the signing of the Agreement on trade and economic, scientific and technical, social and cultural cooperation between Tatarstan and the Novosibirsk region and the signing of the Road Map for the implementation of the Agreement for 2019-2021 is scheduled during the bilateral meeting.

Later on the same day, Minnikhanov and Travnikov as honored guests will take part in Sabantui national holiday, held in the centre of Novosibirsk. The guests of the holiday will look around the Maidan and will get acquainted with the venues, where folk festivals and contests take place, the history and ceremonies of Sabantui and taste national treats.
