An agreement on the construction of a complex for the liquefaction of natural gas and a network of cryogenic fuel filling stations in Tatarstan signed with Gazprom Public Joint Stock Company

On June 7, during the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and CEO of Gazprom Public Joint Stock Company Aleksey Miller signed an agreement on the implementation of investment projects “Construction of a natural gas liquefaction complex in the Republic of Tatarstan” and “Construction of a network of cryogenic fuel filling stations in the Republic of Tatarstan”.

Tatarstan is a leader in the development of gaseous motor fuel infrastructure and the consumption of compressed natural gas. The state programme for the development of gaseous motor fuel market in Tatarstan for 2013-2023 is currently underway. 

It is expected that the regional programme for the development of the liquefied natural Gas market as gaseous motor fuel in the republic for 2019-2030 will be developed, approved and implemented under the document signed today.
