TAIF Group sings agreements with Yokogawa Electric CIS and Schneider Electric at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum 2019

On June 7, at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum 2019, TAIF Production and Investment Company (Tatarstan) and Yokogawa Electric CIS signed an Agreement on Strategic Cooperation.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of TAIF Company Albert Shigabutdinov and Board Chairman of Yokogawa Electric Corporation Takashi Nishijima took part in the signing ceremony.

Later on the same day, TAIF and Schneider Electric signed an addendum on strategic cooperation in the presence of Minnikhanov. The document was signed by Director General of TAIF Company Albert Shigabutdinov and Johan Wanderplaetse, Senior Vice President, President of Schneider Electric in Russia and the CIS.

At their meeting before the signing ceremony, Tatarstan President and senior executives of Schneider Electric expressed their interest in the implementation of large-scale investment projects carried out by enterprises of the TAIF group.

The addendum, which was signed today, is an extension of collaboration started in 2017 between TAIF and Schneider Electric in the field of supply and commissioning of equipment produced by the Schneider Electric Concern. The document contributes to the development of long-term relations of partners in the field of digital transformation at the enterprises of the TAIF Group and in Tatarstan, inlcuding educational programmes, the supply of modern digital solutions, equipment, components and spare parts manufactured by Schneider Electric.
