Tatarstan and Bashkortostan sign a road map on implementation of cooperation agreement

On June 6, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2019), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Acting Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov signed a road map on the implementation of the Agreement between Tatarstan Government and Bashkortostan Government on trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural cooperation in 2019-2021.

Minnikhanov thanked the leadership of Bashkortostan for hospitality and help in holding the Days of Tatarstan in Bashkortostan.

According to him, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan are strategic partners. The range of mutual deliveries is traditionally very wide. “Our regions have good opportunities for interaction in various areas,” Tatarstan President said and added that the interregional trade turnover is about 34 billion roubles.

“I am sure that the road map signed today will contribute to the mutually beneficial relations of our fraternal republics,” Minnikhanov said.
